چکیده
For patients (pts) with la/mUC, systemic therapy (ST), including chemotherapy and immunotherapy, offers benefits such as improved overall survival (OS). There is no published systematic literature review (SLR) reporting on recent treatment patterns reasons for potential undertreatment in la/mUC. We aimed to comprehensively characterize rates of ST (NST) associated this population. conducted a Cochrane guideline-based SLR real-world evidence NST pts la/mUC from 2017-2022 (including study date 2015 or later). Studies English, Spanish, French, German languages any country were included. Among 2439 identified studies, total 29 reported first-line rates. Of these, 8 studies European-based, where highest UK (70%-74%), followed by Denmark (64%), the Netherlands (48%-53%), Spain (40%). Twelve US-based 14%-60%; 9 rest world, Japan, Canada, Russia, 9-63%. percentage NST, 6 clinical characteristics untreated compared those treated pts. describing statistical analyses performed only 2, that older age poor performance status significantly NST. survival, median OS was 2.0-6.9 months 9.2-34.5 receiving ST. Our analysis relevant showed there significant heterogeneity populations studied across settings, geographies. Notwithstanding, substantial proportion are undertreated evidenced large variability reported. Future research needed fully elucidate undertreatment, given availability effective treatments

Gemcitabine and oxaliplatin combination: A multicenter phase II trial in unfit patients with locally advanced or metastatic urothelial cancer.
4544 Background: Although cisplatin is considered the cornerstone for the treatment of advanced bladder cancer, up to 50% of the patients (pts) cannot receive it because they are considered unfit mainly due to poor renal function. New non nephrotoxic regimens are needed. Gemcitabine and oxaliplatin are active, non-nephrotoxic and with non-overlapping toxicity and therefore being attractive to b...

Background and Objectives: In survival analysis, using the Cox model to determine the effective factors requires the assumptions whose failure of leads to biased results. The aim of this paper was to determine the factors affecting the survival of metastatic gastric cancer patients using the non-parametric method of Randomized Survival Forest (RSF) model and to compare its result with the Cox m...
